ABOUT SCOTT HOLLERANScott Holleran is a freelance writer in
California. Holleran's articles -- on topics ranging from health
care, the Korean War and Elian Gonzalez to travel, movies and
entertainment -- have been published in Detroit News, Miami
Herald, Los Angeles Times and Book magazine.
Holleran, the first reporter allowed to meet Elian Gonzalez at his
home in Miami, conducted a series of personal, one-on-one interviews
with each 2000 presidential candidate, including George W. Bush, for
the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Holleran, who writes about Hollywood for
Box Office Mojo,
began newspaper reporting for the Glendale News-Press in 1991. He
serves as editorial director for
